Xmas Craft Fayre

Well it's been months since I've posted and I am feeling lost without my crafts so when the opportunity arose for me to do 2 xmas craft fayres and make some money for my wedding fund I jumped at th opportunity.

Of course i'll be taking some magical mirror samples along and taking orders on the night,but here are some of the other things i've been working on....

Magic Reindeer Food

This is a 1 piece paper pouch http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/diaperfoldpouch/

with a poem added about sprinkling the foodon your garden on xmas eve and it uides the reindeer to your door (and santa obviously!) I then put bas of porridge oats and glitter inside, tied with curly gift wrap ribbons and added a little wooden reindeer decoration (from tesco, sooo cute)

Flannel Cupcakes

These are so simple but effective, just facecloths all rolledup and tied with pretty ribbon, placedin a cake case with a bath bomb ball on top as a cherry! Calorie Free Cupcake! :)

Really enjoyed doing this challenge.

Infact I did 2 cards to this sketch tonight,

One for my Mother in Law's birthday and one for Halloween.

Used old ribbon, some papers from a Forever Friends card making pack and some stickers I had in my craft box.

Also used some foamy halloween shapes I bought today.

Crafty Cards #2 Complimentary Colours

Here is my entry for the Crafty Cards challenge no 2 which was to use complimentary colours from the colour wheel.

I used yellow and purple which are 2 colours I never would've thought of using together but I think it looks really pretty.

As I am only starting out and don't have much of craft box as yet I am quite proud of this wee card. Used an old birthday present ribbon, some mesh fabric I had left over and some wee foamy hearts out of my daughters crafty things, as well as some wee sticky jewels I had.

Really enjoyed doing this and looking forward to the next challenge.

Friday Sketchers Card for Katie

Not quite up to the standard of some others who enter the competitions but I still wanted to enter as a novice.

Really enjoyed making this one for my friends mum's birthday.

Flowers and Stamps

Made this birthday card for my aunt's birthday last week.

I was quite proud of it, especially since it was made from all old bits and bobs from my craft box.

Using wee ribbons cut from old nighties etc, patterns from old cards/gift bags, and stamps I have recently bought!
